Peter proclaimed that all the prophets from Samuel forward were pointing to the days in which Peter spoke (Acts 3:24). Ezekiel was pointing to the first century as well. They were not confused or lacked discernment or lied.??? They may have not known the day or the hour, but surely did not get the century or generation wrong. The Parousia was in the first century, according to these Scriptures, and many more. Start with these above. I'm not making this stuff up. It's in your own Bible. Check it. I'm just standing on what the Bible clearly says. So, that means Revelation is fulfilled and soon still means soon, not two thousand years and still pending.

When a Roman Church Catholic Churches merge with state law. And by law they make it a law that Sunday is the Sabbath. What does an understanding of the New Covenant do to the Pretrib Rapture doctrine? Since the New Covenant is “everlasting” in Hebrews 13:20, how is the New Covenant Church age going to end seven years before the Second Coming of Christ? Why would anyone think God is going back to the Old Covenant system now made “obsolete” by the New Covenant in Hebrews 8:13? We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it. The Capitol "C" Church, as we use the word today, is not found in the entire Book of Revelation. Individual church bodies in ancient Asia Minor are found. In Revelation 12:11 we find those under the blood of the Lamb. A person cannot be under the blood of the Lamb and not be a part of the New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. Verse 12 of this passage proves at least part of the tribulation period is the wrath of Satan upon the people of God. Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. "It may come as a surprise to most pre-Trib prophecy students that the post-Trib position (in its primitive form) is the oldest point of view." Hello. I like how he presents it, but the 70 week prophecy is cut off from the 2300 day prophecy concerning the time of gentiles and the cleansing of the sanctuary. If it all started at decree to restore Jerusalem at 457 bc, it ended in 1844. So the cleansing of the sanctuary should have happened at that time, of course it must be in heaven where Christ is. Also the antichrist, man of sin, son of perdition, mystery of iniquity, the little horn: the Pope of Rome. The only entity that correctly fits the 1260 year period. From 538 to 1798 when a pope was captured by a french general hence giving the first beast it's deadly wound

Dispensationalism is error. There is no gap between the 69th & 70th week. Also there is no 7 year tribulation to follow the rapture. It will be the end when Jesus comes back. This doctrine was invented by John Nelson Darby and Cyrus Ingerson Scofield in the 19th/20th centuries. Look up its origins and see.

But He doesn't provide a reason for breaking the 70th week off of the 70 week prophecy. Time prophesies, like this one, are not of much use when you can't identify the end of it. Based on the theory expressed in this video, if the 70th week were to begin today, wouldn't that make it something like the 104,070 week prophesy? There's no reason for breaking off the week. And when you reattach it to the other 69 weeks, you find that the ending of sacrifice is caused by the sacrifice of the very Lamb of God. With that, the system that pointed forward to his sacrifice had been completed. That was in the middle of the 70th week. Jesus' arrival was not when He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, it was when He was baptized and anointed (the annointed One) by the Holy Spirit and verbally acknowledged by the Father. This is when His ministry started and was "after the 69 weeks" 3-1/2 years before His crucifixion. In this week, He confirmed the covenant with Israel, that's why He told the disciples to preach to Israel only at first. The end of the 70 weeks and the time cut off for Daniel's people was marked by the final rejection of Jesus by the rulers who stoned Stephen, which was followed by the Christians scattering and preaching to the world.

Be ready church , I have never preached so much on salvation and Repentance, getting ready for the rapture . In most reformed traditions the pastors etc don't believe in endtime prophecies ( more symbolic to them) and especially the rapture, either way I say , be ready....whether there's a rapture or not we are called to be ready and watchful. ❤

There is no pre trib rapture of the church. Jesus never taught the pre trib rapture of the church - this teaching is false doctrine it is not Biblical Jesus said he would return immediately after those days of tribulation in Matthew 24 which the church has been going through for the past 2 thousand years. Two Thousand years ago, at the End of His earthly life, Jesus Christ was Taken Up (Acts 1:9). This doesn't mean He disappeared from earth. Instead, in Full View of His wondering disciples, while they watched, He was Taken Up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight (Acts 1:9). Acts 1:9 - Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. This event was highly visible. Luke said Jesus Christ was Taken up, and then Clouds are mentioned, just like Paul wrote about believers being Caught up...in the Clouds. The Angels told the disciples that just as Jesus was literally and Visibly Taken up into the Clouds, even so would he come in like manner as they had seen him go into heaven. Acts 1:11 - ...Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven. The Rapture (Second Coming) will be visible, just like the ascension of Jesus Christ. I would research the pre trib rapture myth and where this lie really came from - I gave you the clue in this post - she is called the harlot Jesus warned about this end time deception in Matthew 24 - He said there would be many false christ, prophets and teachers. Matthew 24:26 - Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the Secret Chambers; believe it not No where in the Bible does it teach a pre trib rapture of the church. The 70th week ( 7 years) of Daniel 9 was full filled in the first century - it has nothing to do with the times we are in right now. When Daniel received this prophesy he was living during the time when the 1st temple was destroyed, the second temple was not even built yet. Gabriel said that the 70-week prophecy specifically applied to the Jewish people (see Daniel 9:24). During the Lord's public ministry of 3.5 years, the Master's focus was largely upon the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matthew 10:6). After His resurrection and then for another 3.5 years, His disciples preached only to Jews (Acts 1-6). At the end of that second 3.5 year period, in 34 A.D., the bold Stephen was stoned by the Jewish Sanhedrin (Acts 7). This infamous deed marked the then ruling Jewish leaders' final, official rejection of the gospel of our Savior. Then the gospel went to the Gentiles. In Acts 9, Saul became Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles (Romans 11:13). In Acts 10, God gave Peter a vision revealing it was now time to preach to the Gentiles (see Acts 10:1-28). Read also Acts 13:46. Thus approximately 3.5 years after the crucifixion- and at the end of the 70-week prophecy given for the Jewish people-the gospel shifted to the Gentiles exactly as predicted in Bible prophecy. The 70 weeks were determined only for the Jews as mentioned in Daniel 9:24. Even though Jesus commanded the apostles to preach throughout the world (Matt 28:19), the apostles preached only within Israel for 3.5 years as they knew that the Gospel has to be preached FIRST to the Jews until the end of 70 weeks ie. 34 AD. Jesus explained ALL the prophecies concerning him to the two disciples going to Emmaus. Luke 24:27 - And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Acts 13:46 - Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. The 70th week ended with the stoning of Stephen (Acts 7:51-59) and this happened exactly 3.5 years after the Messiah's earthly ministry ended. This incident signalled the end of 70 weeks and hence the Apostles were free to preach to the gentiles starting from Samaria. 1. Logic requires that 70 weeks refer to one consecutive block of time, in other words, to seventy straight sequential weeks. There is no example in Scripture of a stated time period starting, stopping, and then starting again. All biblical references to time are consecutive: 40 days and 40 nights (Genesis 7:4), 400 years in Egypt (Genesis 15:13), 70 years of captivity (Daniel 9:2), etc. 2. Logic also requires that the 70th week follow immediately after the 69th week. If it doesn't, then it cannot properly be called the 70th week! 3. It is illogical to insert a 2,000-year gap between the 69th and 70th week. No hint of a gap is found in the prophecy itself. There is no gap between the first seven weeks and the following sixty-two weeks, so why insert one between the 69th and 70th week? 4. Daniel 9:27 says NOTHING about a seven-year period of tribulation, a rebuilt Jewish temple, or any antichrist. The 2nd Temple didn't even exist yet 5. The stated focus of this prophecy is the Messiah, not the antichrist. After the Messiah is cut off (referring to Christ's death), the text says, "And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary". In the past, this has been consistently applied to the destruction of Jerusalem and the second temple by Roman armies led by Prince Titus in AD 70. 6. He shall confirm the covenant. Paul said the covenant was confirmed before by God in Christ (Galatians 3:17). Jesus Christ came to confirm the promises made to the fathers (Romans 15:8). In the King James Version, Daniel 9:27 doesn’t say a covenant or peace treaty, but the covenant, which applies to The New Covenant. Nowhere in the Bible does the antichrist make, confirm, or break a covenant with anyone. The word covenant is Messianic, and always applies to the Messiah, not the antichrist. 7. He shall confirm the covenant with MANY. Jesus Christ said, This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for MANY... (Matthew 26:28). Behold a perfect fit! Jesus was quoting Daniel 9:27 specifically. 8. In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. After exactly three and a half years of holy ministry, Jesus Christ died on the cross, in the midst of the week [in the middle of the seven years]. At the exact moment of His death, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom... (Matthew 27:51). This act of God signified that all animal sacrifices at that moment ceased to be of value. Why? Because the Perfect Sacrifice had been offered! 9. For the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate. The abomination of desolation (Matthew 24:15) is not a simple subject, yet we know that Jesus clearly applied this event to the time when His followers were to flee from Jerusalem before the destruction of the second temple in A.D. 70. In a parallel text to Matthew 24:15, Jesus told His disciples, When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies [Roman armies led by Prince Titus], then know that its desolation is near (Luke 21:20). The disciples did see those very events. Thus Gabriel's statement in Daniel 9:27 about Jerusalem becoming desolate was perfectly fulfilled in A.D 70. 4 times in John 6 Jesus said he would raise those who are his on the Last Day - not 3 or 7 years before the Last Day - even Martha knew this. John 6:39 - This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the Last Day. John 6:40 - And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the Last Day. John 6:44 - No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the Last Day. John 6:54 - Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the Last Day. John 11:24 - Martha said to Him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the Last Day. Matthew 24:29 - Immediately After the Tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Matthew 24:30 - Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matthew 24:31 - And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other Jesus warns of a Strong End Time Delusion Matthew 24:4 - And Jesus answered and said to them: Take heed that no one deceives you. Matthew 24:5 - For many will come in My name, saying, I am the Christ, and will deceive many. Matthew 24:11 - Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. Matthew 24:24 - For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. The first 69 weeks do not extend to His crucifixion. His death must then be during the last week. Placing the last week of Daniel's 70 sometime in the future denies Jesus on the cross as salvation for our sins.

I agree with you on it being Israels trouble. But consider when it started. This was in 70 AD when it was destroyed and no longer existed. Now that it is back, the beast with the 7th head is healed, Satan will continue to reign over it until Jesus comes back. Rapture, false doctrine This message is sent in love. The rapture is a false doctrine and is mainly derived out of 1st Thessalonians. When was this book written, to whom, and what does it say? Written circa 52 A.D. to a church that was present in 52 A.D., this letter was not written to you. In every chapter Paul/Silvanus & Timotheus (authors) tell the church members that Christ is coming/the revelation/resurrection/last day ch 1:10, 2:19,3:13,4:15-16,5:23. If you received a letter telling "you" that the Lord was coming in your lifetime, 6 times, what would you believe? Exactly. When our Lord was being led away to be crucified; Jesus turned to them, saying, “Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. He returned in the first century and destroyed the temple in judgement fulfilling the law. Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Mathew 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. Christ was crystal clear he would return in the first century. Daniel tells us Rome would be in power when the everlasting kingdom would be established: Daniel 2:44, 7:14, 9:24. Christ quoted from Daniel and told "them" (his audience to whom he was speaking) when "you" see the abomination, not us: When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand) The entirety of the New Testament authors all tell their immediate audience that Christ was coming, in their lifetime. Paul, John, James, Peter all say the same thing. Peter directly tells his audience they will witness the revelation, 1 Peter 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Christ was sent in the last days, Hebrews 1:2 The "last" days were 2,000 years past. Peter said he was living in the last days, quoting the prophet Joel, Acts 2. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-16 The word harpazo is used several times in scripture. It means to be caught/gather/taken, some scholars even insinuate a robbery connotation. So, who was the book of Thessalonians written to? A church When? circa 52 A.D. This letter was not written to you. It does not apply to you. You are not a member of the Church of Thessalonica. In chapter 4, the church members are obviously concerned about what has happened to their members who have already died, physically, verse 13. Why? Paul had already told them 4 times in this letter that Jesus Christ was coming. They were looking for him. In verse 14 Paul is telling them that God will also gather them, the ones who have already died physically. If you die a believer, where do you go to reside? Heaven This is your final abode. Where does Abraham, Isaac and Jacob live? Christ was sent to redeem/restore all things in heaven and the earth. Acts 3 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Almost all of the prophets talked about the "last/latter" days, this is where the New Testament writers get their doctrine. The last days are defined as the "last days" of their covenant. The saints in heaven are not leaving their abode; they are simply included in the "gathering", which is the resurrection/restoration Paul preached. In verse 15 Paul tells this church, that they were going to "be alive", breathing, when the Lord returned. And obviously they would not precede, go before, the saints who physically died and were already in heaven. The gathering/resurrection/restoration was for all things in heaven and earth. Verse 16 the dead in Christ (a believer who physically died and is now residing in heaven) will be restored/resurrected/gathered first) Why? Christ was sent from heaven by his Father. If you live in heaven, then you obviously will participate in order first. Verse 17 then we which are alive and remain, we (these are breathing Thessalonian church members) Paul told "them" that they would see the coming of the Christ, 6 times in this letter. To "meet" the Lord. Just like harpazo has a meaning, this word meet is apantesis. What does this word infer to a first century person? This word is used for a formal meeting of a dignitary. Everyone in antiquity knew this word meant that a dignitary was coming to your city. They knew this meant that you would send out a welcoming party and usher that dignitary into your city, where they would remain. It never refers to someone coming to your city to get you and take you to a different location. The second coming/resurrection that Paul preached had nothing to do with physical bodies. He tells us in Acts that his doctrine on the resurrection/revelation comes from the law and prophets. You are living under the new covenant, which lasts forever. @@adiadouglas7615 it is so sad that most Christians today think they will be "Saved" from tribulation, when in fact, all the apostles, the Early Church and most of the Saints before us went through excruciating tribulation. Jesus' Promise was that we would have Tribulation, but be of good cheer. He overcame the world. James said to count it all joy when we went through trials and tribulation. "But none for us, thank you! We are the Special Generation and we will not go through trials and tribulation." At least that is what I am reading and hearing.

Please read and ponder the meaning of 1Thess4:16-18 and 1Thess 5, especially verses 9-11. Also, the Church is not mentioned after the end of Rev 3. And, there is a difference between "tribulation" in life and "the Great Tribulation". No one has ever endured what is described in Revelation as the Great Tribulation. It makes no sense that Christ would die for His bride, the Church, and then allow her to go through the Great Tribulation. The GT is for those who have rejected God and Christ, and to win over the Jews to salvation. It is not for the saints of the Church Age. We can disagree on these points, but we must not let it divide us. It is of utmost importance that we believe that Christ died for our sins, was buried, was raised from the dead and lives forevermore at the righthand of the Father, and He is coming again.

perfect deception. The 70 weeks belong together. No one had a right to insert a "gap" between the 69th and 70th week.And then give that gap a fancy theological term such as "church age", "times of gentiles" , or "great parenthesis" God is not a referee in a sports game with a stopwatch. Dispensationalism is a terrible error and false eschatology. It totally destroys Daniels prophecy . It is as bad as the talmudic rabbis deleting Daniel from their prophets, because they didnt like his Messianic prophecies that became so obvious to many of their people.

The 7 year Tribulation is also known as the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” and is the 70th week in Daniel’s Prophecy for Israel. The one third remnant of Jewish people will have to flee Jerusalem at the mid point of the Tribulation when the Antichrist sets himself up in the Temple and says he is God. The Tribulation is a time when God’s wrath is poured out on the earth and also the time of redemption for Israel. The church age is drawing to a close and the focus will be back on the salvation of Israel.

From Daniel 9, Gabriel said the prophetic clock would start at the time that a decree was issued to rebuild Jerusalem. From the date of that decree to the time of the Messiah would be 483 years. We know from history that the command to “restore and rebuild Jerusalem” was given by King Artaxerxes of Persia - 444 BC (Nehemiah 2:1-8). The first unit of 49 years (7 “7s”) covers the time that it took to rebuild Jerusalem, “with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble” (Daniel 9:25). This rebuilding is chronicled in the book of Nehemiah. Converting the 360-day year used by the ancient Jews, 483 years becomes 476 years on our solar calendar. Adjusting for the switch from BC to AD, 476 years after 444 BC. places us at 33 AD, which would coincide with Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Matthew 21:1-9). The prophecy in Daniel 9 specifies that, after the completion of the 483 years, “the Anointed One will be cut off” (Daniel 9:26). This was fulfilled when Jesus was crucified. Daniel 9:26 continues with a prediction that after the Messiah is killed, “the people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary.” This was fulfilled with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. The “ruler who will come” is a reference to the Antichrist, who, it seems, will have some connection with Rome, since it was the Romans who destroyed Jerusalem. Of the 70 “7s,” 69 have been fulfilled in history. This leaves 1 more “7” yet to be fulfilled. Many scholars believe that we are now living in a huge gap between the 69th and the 70th week. The prophetic clock has been paused, as it were. The final “7” of Daniel is what we usually call the Tribulation period.

I like how he presents it, but the 70 week prophecy is cut off from the 2300 day prophecy concerning the time of gentiles and the cleansing of the sanctuary. If it all started at decree to restore Jerusalem at 457 bc, it ended in 1844. So the cleansing of the sanctuary should have happened at that time, of course it must be in heaven where Christ is.

After Trump wins the next election…count 4 yrs after that…then many say the rapture will likely occur (at the last Trump), between 2028-2030, and then the tribulation will begin. When we look ahead to 2030…I believe that is the goal according to the WEF when a NWO will begin upon ushering the Antichrist.

We do believe clues point to pre, but nobody will absolutely know until it happens.
