So, you got Peter contradicting himself, the apostles, and believe he trumps Jesus? What's wrong with your understanding? Peter's use of a "thousand years" in 2 Peter 3:8 ""Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day."" was in regard to the imminent fulfillment of God's covenant promises. Consistency points me into the same direction. 1 Peter 4:7; 17. He neither contradicts himself nor trumps Jesus' teaching on it. Peter proclaimed that all the prophets from Samuel forward were pointing to the days in which Peter spoke (Acts 3:24). Ezekiel was pointing to the first century as well. (Ezekiel 38:18) Honoring the time statements is a protection, just like marriage. Ephesians 5:32-33 That second coming was in the first century. It's not in our future. Please, check what I'm saying: Matthew 10:23; 16:27-28; 26:63-64 Luke 21:22 Acts 1:11 Romans 13:11; 16:20, 1 Corinthians 7:29, Galatians 5:5 Philippians 4:5 1 Peter 4:7, 4:17 James 5:8-9 Hebrews 10:37 1 John 2:18 Revelation 1:1, 3, 7; 22:7, 10, 12, 20 Surely, the Inspired prophetic writers and Jesus did not get the century of the Parousia wrong?!! They were not confused or lacked discernment or lied.??? They may have not known the day or the hour, but surely did not get the century or generation wrong. The Parousia was in the first century, according to these Scriptures, and many more. Start with these above. I'm not making this stuff up. It's in your own Bible. Check it. I'm just standing on what the Bible clearly says. So, that means Revelation is fulfilled and soon still means soon, not two thousand years and still pending.

Get a load of the Christian horde gathering behind in support of Donald Trump the pathological liar who bankrupted a casino he owned. The return of the Jews to Judah occurred in 516 BC Joshua was anointed "Most Holy" aka High priest fulfilling the 490 day prophecy in it's entirety. As of 2020 the last nation who bore the Fruit of the Spirit naturally ceased to exist. I disagree. This is Eisegesis. The pastor is bringing in his predetermined belief system and translating Scripture to fit his narrative. The Dispensational Pre-Millennial Rapture theory was invented back in the 1900 by Darby. There is Historic Pre-Mill, but nothing like what is being taught by this pastor and so many.

Read Matthew 16:28. “There are some of those who are standing here who shall not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.” (Matt. 16:28) “This generation will not pass away until all these things take place.” (Matt. 24:34). The end of the world meant the end of that old covenant AGE. What does an understanding of the New Covenant do to the Pretrib Rapture doctrine? Since the New Covenant is “everlasting” in Hebrews 13:20, how is the New Covenant Church age going to end seven years before the Second Coming of Christ? Why would anyone think God is going back to the Old Covenant system now made “obsolete” by the New Covenant in Hebrews 8:13? We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it. The Capitol "C" Church, as we use the word today, is not found in the entire Book of Revelation. Individual church bodies in ancient Asia Minor are found. In Revelation 12:11 we find those under the blood of the Lamb. A person cannot be under the blood of the Lamb and not be a part of the New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. Verse 12 of this passage proves at least part of the tribulation period is the wrath of Satan upon the people of God. Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. "It may come as a surprise to most pre-Trib prophecy students that the post-Trib position (in its primitive form) is the oldest point of view." (The quotation above is from the book "Will You Escape The Tribulation? RAPTURE [Under Attack]", by Tim LaHaye, copyright 1998, Page 197.) Tim LaHaye was co-author of the “Left Behind” books and movies which have convinced millions of modern Christians that the Church age ends seven years before the Second Coming of Christ. Recently, Pastor Matt Furse of Mountain View Baptist Church in Custer, S.D. has written a book titled “Which One Is Right?’, which reveals the recent history of the pretrib rapture doctrine, and the fact it does not agree with what is written in the King James Bible. The gathering of the Church is described at the end of 1 Thess. Chapter 4, and the timing of the event is found in chapter 5. The word “But” in the first verse of chapter 5 connects the two chapters, and the words “we” and “sleep” in verse 10 of chapter 5 prove the two chapters are connected. The Greek words for “wrath” and “tribulation” are not the same word, as proven by the verse below. Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Hello. I like how he presents it, but the 70 week prophecy is cut off from the 2300 day prophecy concerning the time of gentiles and the cleansing of the sanctuary. If it all started at decree to restore Jerusalem at 457 bc, it ended in 1844. So the cleansing of the sanctuary should have happened at that time, of course it must be in heaven where Christ is. Also the antichrist, man of sin, son of perdition, mystery of iniquity, the little horn: the Pope of Rome. The only entity that correctly fits the 1260 year period. From 538 to 1798 when a pope was captured by a french general hence giving the first beast it's deadly wound

Dispensationalism is error. There is no gap between the 69th & 70th week. Also there is no 7 year tribulation to follow the rapture. It will be the end when Jesus comes back. This doctrine was invented by John Nelson Darby and Cyrus Ingerson Scofield in the 19th/20th centuries. Look up its origins and see.

Be ready church , I have never preached so much on salvation and Repentance, getting ready for the rapture . In most reformed traditions the pastors etc don't believe in endtime prophecies ( more symbolic to them) and especially the rapture, either way I say , be ready....whether there's a rapture or not we are called to be ready and watchful. ❤

The first 69 weeks do not extend to His crucifixion. His death must then be during the last week. Placing the last week of Daniel's 70 sometime in the future denies Jesus on the cross as salvation for our sins.

Now this is a strange thing. Dan 9:24 has a list of things to be accomplished during the 70 weeks. One of them is "to make reconciliation for iniquity". The phrase in the original Hebrew "kāp̄arʿāôn" means "atonement for iniquity", "erase", "blot out", "forgive", "to purge/pardon". Any Christian can tell you this is Jesus on the cross. And it MUST occur during Dan 9s 70 weeks as per verse 24. But it did not happen during the first 69 weeks. If the first 69 weeks do not include His crucifixion then His death on the cross MUST be during the last week of that 70 week time period. There is no other way around this. If it is true that last week has not happened yet then neither has the "reconciliation for iniquity". The Messiah has yet to come and Jesus' crucifixion was nothing more than punishment for insurrection. We are yet in our sins. Placing the last week of Daniel's 70 weeks sometime in the future actually denies Jesus on the cross as salvation from our sins. Denies Him as being the Messiah AND makes the prophecy a false prophecy.

But He doesn't provide a reason for breaking the 70th week off of the 70 week prophecy. Time prophesies, like this one, are not of much use when you can't identify the end of it. Based on the theory expressed in this video, if the 70th week were to begin today, wouldn't that make it something like the 104,070 week prophesy? There's no reason for breaking off the week. And when you reattach it to the other 69 weeks, you find that the ending of sacrifice is caused by the sacrifice of the very Lamb of God. With that, the system that pointed forward to his sacrifice had been completed. That was in the middle of the 70th week. Jesus' arrival was not when He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, it was when He was baptized and anointed (the annointed One) by the Holy Spirit and verbally acknowledged by the Father. This is when His ministry started and was "after the 69 weeks" 3-1/2 years before His crucifixion. In this week, He confirmed the covenant with Israel, that's why He told the disciples to preach to Israel only at first. The end of the 70 weeks and the time cut off for Daniel's people was marked by the final rejection of Jesus by the rulers who stoned Stephen, which was followed by the Christians scattering and preaching to the world.

Please read and ponder the meaning of 1Thess4:16-18 and 1Thess 5, especially verses 9-11. Also, the Church is not mentioned after the end of Rev 3. And, there is a difference between "tribulation" in life and "the Great Tribulation". No one has ever endured what is described in Revelation as the Great Tribulation. It makes no sense that Christ would die for His bride, the Church, and then allow her to go through the Great Tribulation. The GT is for those who have rejected God and Christ, and to win over the Jews to salvation. It is not for the saints of the Church Age. We can disagree on these points, but we must not let it divide us. It is of utmost importance that we believe that Christ died for our sins, was buried, was raised from the dead and lives forevermore at the righthand of the Father, and He is coming again.

I said, "How will America burn?" America is the most powerful country in this world. Why did you bring us here to burn? Why didn't you at least let us die where ALL the Dudumans have died?" He said, "Remember this, Dumitru. The Russian spies have discovered where the nuclear warehouses are in America. When the Americans will think that it is peace and safety - from the middle of the country, some of the people will start fighting against the government. The government will be busy with internal problems. Then from the ocean, from Cuba, Nicaragua, Mexico,,.." (He told me two other countries, but I didn't remember what they were.) "...they will bomb the nuclear warehouses. When they explode, America will burn!" "What will you do with the Church of the Lord? How will you save the ones that will turn toward you?" I asked. He said, "Tell them this: how I saved the three young ones from the furnace of fire, and how I saved Daniel in the lions den, is the same way I will save them." The angel of the Lord also told me, "I have blessed this country because of the Jewish people who are in this country. I have seven million Jews in this country, but they do not want to recognize the Lord. They didn't want to thank God for the blessing they received in this country. Israel doesn't want to recognize Jesus Christ. They put their faith in the Jewish people in America. But, when America burns, the Lord will raise China, Japan, and other nations to go against the Russians. They will beat the Russians and push them all the way to the gates of Paris. Over there they will make a treaty, and appoint the Russians as their leaders. They will then unite against Israel. When Israel realizes she does not have the strength of America behind her, she will be frightened. That's when she will turn to the Messiah for deliverance. That's when the Messiah will come. Then, the church will meet Jesus in the air, and he will bring them back with Him to the Mount of Olives. At that time, the battle of Armageddon will be fought." When I heard all of this I said, "if you are truly the angel of the Lord, and everything you have told me is true, then all you have said must be written in the Bible." He said, "Tell everyone to read from Jeremiah 51:8-15, Revelation chapter 18, and Zechariah chapter 14, where Christ fights against those who possess the earth. After His victory," the angel said, "there will be one flock and one Shepherd. There will be no need for light. The Lamb of God will be the Light. There will be no sickness, no tears, and no deaths. There will only be eternal joy and God will be the ruler. There will be only one language. Only one song. And no need for a translator! ... And, Dumitru," he continued, "a word of warning. If you keep anything from the American people that you are told, I will punish you severely." "How will I know that this is for real -that it will really happen?" I asked. "As a sign that I have spoken to you, tomorrow before you wake, I will send someone to bring you a bed, and at noon I will send you a car and a bucket of honey. After which I will send someone to pay your rent." The next day someone brought Dumitru a bed, and at noon a car arrived with the bucket of honey. His rent was also paid, as God had promised him. No one will be left behind cos Rapture is immediately after tribulation just before God pours His wrath upon the earth. Just Noah lived thru hardship of evil neighbours, we also live thru hardship of tribulation. When God was about to let flood come, He shut Noah inside the ark, similarly the church will be raptured. Events of Rev 16 begins.

The 70 weeks started in 457 BC. 490 - 457 = 33 + 1 for the 0 year = 34 or 34AD the 70 weeks ended in 34AD around the death of Stephen.

I tend to agree, except 1 thing about the 70th week doesn't seem right to me. If the 70th week did indeed happen in Jesus time then the "people of the prince to come" doesn't make any sense. Because who is the prince to come? Is it jesus? That seems the most likly answer for a 1st century interpretation of the 70th week. But the problem then becomes that it was not properly fullfilled as jesus people were not the ones that came, and destroyed the temple the Roman's were. The "people of the prince to come" throws a big wrench in first century Interpretations, and I haven't seen anyone who takes a 1st century interpretation of Daniel's 70th week address it .

Rapture, false doctrine This message is sent in love. The rapture is a false doctrine and is mainly derived out of 1st Thessalonians. When was this book written, to whom, and what does it say? Written circa 52 A.D. to a church that was present in 52 A.D., this letter was not written to you. In every chapter Paul/Silvanus & Timotheus (authors) tell the church members that Christ is coming/the revelation/resurrection/last day ch 1:10, 2:19,3:13,4:15-16,5:23. If you received a letter telling "you" that the Lord was coming in your lifetime, 6 times, what would you believe? Exactly. When our Lord was being led away to be crucified; Jesus turned to them, saying, “Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. He returned in the first century and destroyed the temple in judgement fulfilling the law. Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Mathew 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. Christ was crystal clear he would return in the first century. Daniel tells us Rome would be in power when the everlasting kingdom would be established: Daniel 2:44, 7:14, 9:24. Christ quoted from Daniel and told "them" (his audience to whom he was speaking) when "you" see the abomination, not us: When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand) The entirety of the New Testament authors all tell their immediate audience that Christ was coming, in their lifetime. Paul, John, James, Peter all say the same thing. Peter directly tells his audience they will witness the revelation, 1 Peter 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Christ was sent in the last days, Hebrews 1:2 The "last" days were 2,000 years past. Peter said he was living in the last days, quoting the prophet Joel, Acts 2. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-16 The word harpazo is used several times in scripture. It means to be caught/gather/taken, some scholars even insinuate a robbery connotation. So, who was the book of Thessalonians written to? A church When? circa 52 A.D. This letter was not written to you. It does not apply to you. You are not a member of the Church of Thessalonica. In chapter 4, the church members are obviously concerned about what has happened to their members who have already died, physically, verse 13. Why? Paul had already told them 4 times in this letter that Jesus Christ was coming. They were looking for him. In verse 14 Paul is telling them that God will also gather them, the ones who have already died physically. If you die a believer, where do you go to reside? Heaven This is your final abode. Where does Abraham, Isaac and Jacob live? Christ was sent to redeem/restore all things in heaven and the earth. Acts 3 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Almost all of the prophets talked about the "last/latter" days, this is where the New Testament writers get their doctrine. The last days are defined as the "last days" of their covenant. The saints in heaven are not leaving their abode; they are simply included in the "gathering", which is the resurrection/restoration Paul preached. In verse 15 Paul tells this church, that they were going to "be alive", breathing, when the Lord returned. And obviously they would not precede, go before, the saints who physically died and were already in heaven. The gathering/resurrection/restoration was for all things in heaven and earth. Verse 16 the dead in Christ (a believer who physically died and is now residing in heaven) will be restored/resurrected/gathered first) Why? Christ was sent from heaven by his Father. If you live in heaven, then you obviously will participate in order first. Verse 17 then we which are alive and remain, we (these are breathing Thessalonian church members) Paul told "them" that they would see the coming of the Christ, 6 times in this letter. To "meet" the Lord. Just like harpazo has a meaning, this word meet is apantesis. What does this word infer to a first century person? This word is used for a formal meeting of a dignitary. Everyone in antiquity knew this word meant that a dignitary was coming to your city. They knew this meant that you would send out a welcoming party and usher that dignitary into your city, where they would remain. It never refers to someone coming to your city to get you and take you to a different location. The second coming/resurrection that Paul preached had nothing to do with physical bodies. He tells us in Acts that his doctrine on the resurrection/revelation comes from the law and prophets. You are living under the new covenant, which lasts forever. What if he said I know but just before it gets here someone is going to pull me safety and then he went back to sleep. @god_laughs_at_atheists6928 In Matthew 24 the Lord Jesus is speaking to the Jewish people who will become believers during the Tribulation. The 7 year Tribulation is also known as the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” and is the 70th week in Daniel’s Prophecy for Israel. The one third remnant of Jewish people will have to flee Jerusalem at the mid point of the Tribulation when the Antichrist sets himself up in the Temple and says he is God. The Tribulation is a time when God’s wrath is poured out on the earth and also the time of redemption for Israel. The church age is drawing to a close and the focus will be back on the salvation of Israel.
