There's nothing like the mountains. Anyone who says different hasn't experienced it and has no idea. It's almost meditating , relaxing and exciting at the same time. My vacations to the coast haven't existed for years. It can't compare or even come close for me. Me and my wife can spend days deep in the mountains and want to stay longer.
@Raqsoicy9 ай бұрын
@@Sharken69 there is you can find that in so many places around the world you can’t find mountains everywhere we are literally surrounded by an ocean and beaches. You can find the ocean, sand and sharks at every coastal city I lived in Florida for 22 years the only way you’re finding this Clearwater you speak of is if you live on the Gulf of Mexico side if you live on the other side, it’s shitty brown caca water

I would honestly love to see more smallie content. Those things are so much fun to fish for! Also when you are doing fishing like this it would be better if you got a polarized lens for your GoPro so that we could see into the water a lot better. There is quite a bit of glare at times.

I'm jealous, Smallmouth are some of my favorite fish to catch but they're quite elusive in Rhode Island. And i'd easily choose mountains even though I'm from the Ocean state and we have no mountains lol. Luckily I get to fish the mountains in NH for smallies soon.

Come to kentucky and fish lake cumberland.. youll catch smallmouth catfish and large mouth all day. plus the cumberland river is right there too so you could fish that for walleye trout.. my dad caught a 33 pound catfish in lake cumberland just a couple days ago.

Awesome day of fishing in the creek. I think you should get together with John from Creek Fishing Adventures for sure. I remember when you started the only KZbin traveling tackle box and John was the first KZbinr you sent it to. But I know if you and him hooked up for a few days and let him take you and show you some of his awesome creeks and honey holes he fishes in that would be some awesome content for sure. Love all that you do for us and appreciate all that you and your girlfriend and dog go through to make all these awesome videos for us all to enjoy and learn from and see places that we have wanted to see and were to stay and all that good stuff thanks. Well till next's time GodBless and Tight Lines.

Yeah this is pretty cool. I fish the smokies 2 times a year. If you’re in the Gatlinburg/pigeon forge area and want to catch some nice trout, head out of garlinburg up toward clingmans dome. There are tons of places to pull off the road and fish. There are literally fish everywhere you stop. The smokies have the largest wild trout population in the southeastern, US

Picking up one of these myself (the creek/pond version), Ozark Trail may be Walmarts brand and cheap but it damn sure works! Caught my personal best Bass weighing at 6.11 lbs with a cheap 65$ Ozark Trail bait caster. With a little Ozark Trail frog. 1.94 for a frog isn't to shabby compared to other brands!

I creek and river wade fish most days, if you get into this, get yourself a few small pocket sized boxes for a small selection of creek lures, my favorite is the strike king bitsy minnow,,buy yourself a wading staff, much easier to wade with one, also get yourself a light weight wading vest, keep your phone in a pocket as high as possible, also make yourself a rope with a carabiner on one end maybe 20ft long, tie knots every 12” or so , use the rope and tie off to get safely down slopes to the water, then you have a way back out, he harder it is to get to the water the better the fishing is, I also use rigid 3/4” conduit with a 3/8” hole drilled near the top as an anchor point ,that I leave driven in the ground at roadsides, driven flat to the ground near the pavement,no one knows about your points but you, lose the tackle bag, way to much tackle! Fish with light gear, I love the shimano vanford 1000 on a 6’6” st. Croix eyecon light fast action spinning set up. , good luck
