Numbers Station, South Korean, V24, 6310 kHz, AM mode, 01 January, 2019, 1530 UTC

South Korean numbers station V24. The introduction music for this time slot is Maeil Geudaewa (Every Day With You), by Sojin. To prevent a Copyright hit on my channel I have trimmed the music to just a few seconds, but the entire song is played as part of the transmission.
V24 is one of the last regular numbers stations still in use that continues the classic numbers station format of intro music before the message starts.
This is a regular scheduled transmission (time, day, and frequency) for V24. In this case it transmits on 6310 kHz, at 1530 UTC, on the 1st, 3rd, and 8th of most months. With that in mind all V24 time slots periodically do not transmit or sometimes disappear for several months. Also, the schedule of all V24 transmissions changes every year or so, so that what is a valid schedule today may not have been in use a few years ago.
Recorded at my location in the Mojave Desert, California, USA, on 01 January, 2019, 1530 UTC. Receiver used was an RFSpace NetSDR, the antenna used was a 450' Rhombic pointed 310 deg true (towards Asia).

The Rhombics basic properties are listed in the description. It is 450 feet apex to apex, 210 feet across, 32 feet high, and pointed on a bearing of 310 deg true.

How can you be sure this is coming from South Korea? Is there a way to track the signal's location?

There are several ways to confirm the source of any radio transmission. Basic angle of arrival DF techniques, TDOA techniques, etc. The transmitters can be fingerprinted and compared to other transmissions from known sources.

As a Korean, I think it's more like a woman's voice. It's like a woman is making her voice sound medium and low. Is there a special reason why you think it is a male voice?
