We really try to find ways to level up the program every year. This year it was lots of off season work in skill development: CAD, Programming, subsystem experimentation... After Worlds, instead of feeling burnt out, the team felt motivated. They doubled down on effort to be ready to roll by kickoff. Pair that with 20hrs a week of work so far this season and a strategic approach to early focus (decided Specimens plus solid Auton were a priority for our first events); lead to early success. They have since pivoted towards a late season strategic shift. The end of season looks to be tough though, tbd how that pays off. Above all, the focus is consistency. All components (subsystems, driving, tactical gameplay, etc) must be reliable match to match for the team to be satisfied. For example we built a nice Ascent 3 hang, but didn't feel there was enough driver practice time to fully integrate it into our match plan, so the team decided to remove it for this weekend's event. It was a tough decision for them to make, but they decided +15 to score most matches didn't outweigh the risk of something catastrophic happening in one match.

I think INT got snubbed. Not even top 50. They are the best NYC Team and the best specimen team in the world
