Their Chaca Oaxaca burger is my absolute favorite which I did not expect. It’s a chorizo patty with over easy egg, avocado spear and sauce on top. It’s so freaking good

I have tried the DH burger in Amboy in Chinatown Los Angeles. I know $15 can be a lot for people, but it's something to try at least once. It was unbelievable. Also, the smashed burgers were unbelievable. I make my own burgers for fun. When I had burgers at Amboy, it made me feel like I'm just a high school student in home economics, and Alvin and his team are burger PhDs.

This Elijah Wood guy speaks truth. The first two minutes covers it all. For me, I love: 8oz patty with cumin and a couple other subtle ingredients; grilled onion with BUTTER and a few herbs; grilled, thinly slice mushrooms over BUTTER; patty cooked over bacon fat, OR beef tallow; a slice of one or two pieces of cheese (American, and something with 'bite'); then, a simple sauce. Add one or two other additions if desired. Also... TOAST the bun with butter and garlic. Yum.
