The story of how Colin Farrell, my VERY favourite human being, became the literal Saint of Toronto about 20 years ago is beautiful: he was here for The Toronto Film Festival and met a homeless guy on the street. He took him for a fancy steak dinner and then rented him an apartment, paying the rent for a YEAR! Then, when he was back for the festival a year later he visited his new friend, found that he was working on his sobriety but still not employed and he paid the rent for another f***ing year. I still tear up whenever I think about what a totally f***ing amazing human being he is.

@@drinfernodds for sure you definitely do build up a tolerance. I've been eating spicy and doing challenges for about 20 years and definitely can handle more easily than I used to. Paqui One Chip Challenge 2021 was super easy for me, the 9 million schoville chocolate didn't make me sick either haha but I love Torchbearer sauces and Last Dab sauces regularly, anything with super heat as long as it isn't full of cheap capsaicin oil. I honestly don't see it and seem to be in the minority on this---this topic has been brought up a number of times in so many different forums and always divides the audience. As researched and knowledgeable as he is, there is something distinctly unrelatable about his conversation.

@@rebel107 The fact that is not that deep somewhat made it deep. for in its simplicity the meaning just strikes you more frankly.

It’s up there with Bob Seger’s “wish I didn’t know now what I didn’t know then.” Simple, succinct and universal.

This guy was not at all what I was expecting. So articulate, down to earth and human. As always, Sean did a great interview.

Had no idea how poetic & deep Colin Farrell was. Much deserved newfound respect for the guy. This episode ranks up there with Dave Grohl for me.
