I hope you enjoyed Santos! Note that this was filmed around a month prior to upload. My Brazil series has been cut short due to lack of interest and views to the point is it not financially viable to film them, therefore you can expect a couple more before I return to Mexico for one final series of videos before I move to Poland and move on to different things in my life. I really don´t know why Brazil is not a touristic power.. they have amazing colonial towns like ouro preto, amazing beaches , huge territory, the amazonas, the most diverse population in Latín américa therefore culture. I actually find thier cities better designed tah our cities in México, better urbanism as well. Hope i can finally visit Brasil this year

As a person from the US who has lived in Brasil off and on for 20 years, once it was very popular 2005 but today I don't see any americans here, not much tourism Many foreigners are AFRAID of visiting Is just like I want it !

As a Brazilian person, from Santos to be precisely, who lived mostly of my life outside Brazil and in many different countries I can answer easily. Nobody knows where Brazil is, soon as I answer I am Brazilian the first thing I hear is "you don't look Brazilian". They are surprised by seen a white person from Brazil, they really think is in Africa. I met thousands and thousands of people from any country you can imagine, not a single person knows Brazil is not in Africa. Then they ask things like if I can read or something, and also get amazed by the fact I speak at least 5 languages. What people Brazil is outside Brazil, specially in Europe or Usa, is a small African tropical country like Gabon, with tropical diseases and everyone living with a dollar per day. Everyone is African with dozen of children, many starving to death. Also I got asked a lot about AIDS, they see documentaries about countries like Botswana or Zimbabue where many people have AIDS and they think Brazil is somewhere near them.

Another great video of a no well known city. I wouldn't have guessed that the weather would be hot just on the cloudy and gray look of the city. The cathedral from the outside reminded me of the one in Sao Paulo on the outside from certain angles.

Thanks Nat! Some countries do better than others depending on various factors. KZbin and 'travel' only really work if you stick to one country, which kinda defeats the object of travel, because content has to be all about the same thing for it to do well

You know Pele is really famous in Mexico he used to even appear in TV commercials in the Mexican televison. And i dont know if you have heard about Giovani dos Santos is a Mexican football player and his dad was from Brasil and like Pele he was also afro-brazilian. So when you come back to México you are going to the central part of the country ?

I was Sparks on the SS Delta Mar from 1978 to 1982 making 2 month round trip voyages from NOLA to SA. Our port call into Santos was usually 2-3 days, quite long for a freighter. Monkey Wrench Corner was the area along the docks were ships were tied up, working cargo. The clubs at night we top heavy with ship's crews speaking many different languages. There was never any conflict, everyone just drank and had much fun. I do miss my sailing days.

Another classic video from TOD with a unique style. Santos looks a little worn down. Doesn't appear to have that natural beauty or the simple but glam feel that many other places in Brazil have.

Me too! Thanks man! Fun fact, Serbia generally outperforms Mexico greatly, but this interest tends to be short lived. Mexico videos for me tend to be more long term growers. Ie they don't have that initial jump at upload time, but continue to consistently get views. Eg Mazatlan and Culiacan videos are currently my highest viewed in the last 28 days, and they were filmed last summer!

Haha who knows! Sometimes it just works that way. I have the problem that I've filmed so many videos in Mexico and Serbia, 95% of the audience is there, so they aren't interested in Brazil. In this situation in new countries it's basically like starting from zero. This kinda defeats the object of a travel channel right, it's to best to stay in a particular country or region if you want consistent views. Back in Mex next Saturday in real time!

A praia de Santos é super feia! mas a cidade é incrivelmente desenvolvida e rica, não atoa sempre figura entre os melhores IDH's do Brasil. Tem o melhor saneamento básico do Brasil, índice de homic´dios entre os 10 mais baixos do país, e o melhor Time de todos!!! rsrsrsrs

Yes the beaches in santos are not that impressive. I think most people go to guaruja for beautiful beaches. Its very close, just take the ferry across. There is a ski lift type thing further down the beach that offers a very nice view of the city, especially at sunset. Nice video!

Vc poderia criar um canal secundário e fazer reacts , aí sim vc conseguiria ter um pulblico daqui e ter views. tem um youtuber Britânico chamado alwhites que conseguiu crescer só fazendo Reacts , tem uma youtuber Russa chamada ( Olga do Brasil ) que tem 550 mil incritos Brasileiros . Normalmente as pessoas do Brasil gostam de conhecer a pessoa pra acompanhar o canal . O react poderia ter feito seu canal ser mais conhecido por aqui . Mais sinto que vc não curte fazer react , foi so uma dica .
