Beautiful as always. Whenever you make those changes do you ask for approval or just proceed and inform the art director later?

Depends on how risk adverse I am feeling! The Lotuses were a bit of a surprise for them I think. But made sense to me. I don't think changing heads/hands is a problem if it makes a better painting and doesn't dramatically change the function of the card. Also the last thing the AD may have seen is the thumbnail drawing. You guys are seeing way more! Magic would never know I changed the head. And there is tons of room for improvement from the thumbnail!
