I went over an analysis of this game when I was a kid. On Fischer's Bxh2, the annotator wrote something along the lines of "Not fatal in itself, though critics will blame this move for the result of the game". I for one do not consider Bxh2 a blunder, though I find it extremely dubious. In reality, this move will probably be argued about for hundreds of years. It's not by any means necessary and it's complicated, but it's not automatically inferior. The funny thing is, I've given computers that position and some of them played Fischer's move.

Thanks for your comment! That's funny about some engines giving it as a recommendation 🤣 It makes sense for critics to blame the move for the loss, since the position was one any master could've drawn without breaking a sweat until it was played, and then Fischer wasn't getting an imbalance in his favor, but quite the contrary.
