Well done, Linn, Jonna and Emma! You did what you could against this XXL creature. The race profile suited the Norwegian giant perfectly - 500 meter downhill before the straight to the finish line. Anyways - now Linn is just 41 points behind Diggins, and hopefully even less after tomorrow, but I fear it a bit too much for Linn, being able to pass Diggins after the race on Sunday. I wish all you Swedish women the very best of luck for tomorrow and Sunday!!! Go for it, Linn!

This faster gliding at 0:43 Both Skistad and Klaebo were not leading before that point, but due to faster gliding at the end of the downhill, they lead the pack there. Is it different ski preparation, or for Skistad I wonder if the a larger weight. But this was crucial. Sundling is interesting))) She was always leading in all heats coming to the final, with a good margin, she is so fast on the uphill!!! But Skistad has a faster finish speed.

@@ayratkhalimov1648YOU MUST BE JOKING, RIGHT. Take a look at the other norwegian girls, did it look like they have better glide then the swedish girls? No one in sprint is better than Skistad and Klaebo to choose the right lane downhill..As the sport expert said when they ran downhill. Look at how Skistad take that curve, keeping her speed better than Svahn and Sundling. Diggens is the same, she always fastest downhill, not because she always has better glide, but because she is better to take the right way/lane and keep her speed high.

Diggins was doing pretty good actually, and could advance to semis, but imho it looked like she got obstructed in the last small uphill, would love to see this moment again.

What are you talking about 😂 I have just seen the race again and no one is near Diggins at all in the last small uphill. The one closes is Moa Lundgren from Sweden. After they run down hill it is a gap from Stenseth and Gimmler to Diggins and Lundgren. Diggins and Lundgren closing the gap. In the last small hill, you are talking about, Stenseth and Gimmler are first, in each lane. Followed by Diggins and Lundgren, the only one who is changing lane, in that hill, is Diggins and Lundgren. So it must have been Lundgren than you thought about.

Congratulation to Skistad...Once again you showed who's the best 🤩. Alone against all the swedes, could not beat you even with their team tactics. Skistad has the same amount of sprint wins (5) and podiums (11) as Svahn this season, the only difference is Svahn have raced more sprints.
