The mud floor is warm enough for them and they keep the fire burning during the winter. In most South Asia and South East Asian countries, they don't use shoes all the time because it's not appropriate to walk in the house with it. They just wear shoes when going out or when working. But sometimes, if it's too cold, they just put on thick socks and indoor slippers. You hardly see Asian households wear shoes in the house, it's more like a courtesy. They leave their slipper at the entrance most times.

It's just a farm house, his main house is in the village. This one was built to serve as Diwaaz YT networks team years ago and also used to accommodate Bhumi's goats then, he had plenty that time. Bhumi then decided to just live there till now, maybe it's more convenient for him to cultivate his farm and keep his goats by living there instead of going back and forth from the village that took almost 2 hours walking uphill.
