Nice clean install. I kinda wish the electronic manufacturers made a kayak version with less wire to deal with. I completely felt it when you had to redo the wiring because of missing that shield. Something I would 100% do.

What is the benefit of adding the GPS antenna? Doesn’t the fish finder have one built in? Asking because I am thinking about a similar setup on my new Hobie Outback.

It keeps your heading true. If you are facing north, but drifting south the fish finder will think you are heading south. It is especially useful when trying to fish on a waypoint etc. The fish finder doesn't know where the front of the boat is.

All day. I ran the FF, and a gopro for over 6 hrs.

It has held up very well. It runs my fish finder, my point 1GPS, and a Go pro hero 9 for about 6 hours. Before it switches to the 2nd battery.

@@dee_b_wildin I can't speak to anyone else's experience, but mine has been good. I have had a few small issues with Nocqua, but their customer service is great. They always help me out.

You have to much stuff stacked up on the side of your kayak. Good luck landing a fish with all that....
