What wonderful video Vincent... The words you spoke at the end touched me deeply... My dad went to heaven last fall... He loved fishing and nature more than anything. He was in his nineties when he passed and held a fishing pole right up until the end. We are all just passing through and don't lose focus on what is truly important... Love your message. I know our fathers are fine because the shoes of a fisherman take them there✌️

Sorry to hear he passed. He was a great age but its still sad you miss them. My dad was sick and house bound for the last few years of his life. If i only did my KZbin channel back then he would have played all my music for my videos he would have loved that. All we can do is try to be happy and nice to others. Cheers. I used fish it 25 years ago when the hotel in waterville had it. One boat on the lake full of salmon and seatrout your rod would be bending all day. I remember a man fishing off the bank one day and i approached him he had beautiful seatrout up to about 3lb and he was catching them on chicken from a chicken sandwich believe it or not. They were the good old days no tags on rules you could even use a chicken sandwich. 😂😂😂😂 Thanks for watching and commenting cheers. (Now it's owned privately.) Getting fishing on it is like winning the lotto. But the fishing like everywhere is on the decline.😢

Met a man today one of my subscribers he said he fishes lough leane in his kayak said he has to get paper work that it's been cleaned that day arrange to meet the water warden has to make an appointment to meet him all just to be able to put his kayak onto the water. A lot of hassle. Bloody hell. May as well just take up golf. 😢 please God we will meet up soon for a cast. He was a really nice man it's great to put a face to a subscriber a gentleman. My wife met him to said he was a gentleman

Glad to see you back down Whesht again. That horse lake holds some big trout, he must have had some bend on his rod catching those doubles over a pound... not only do I hope you copied his flies but I'd love a pair of them to see if I'd get a doubler also. Doutcha Bai 😂

I didn't even lol at his flies. He was using a slow sinking line i had a floating line on. His flies must have just got to the right depth. I'd say any fly would have worked it was all about the right depth. I stuck with my floating line without much success. I was just happy getting the footage for the video.
