When I first heard this song I thought of Dark Souls 3 and Hollow Knight never crossed my mind, but this actually works really well, good job.

I wasn't expecting to nearly be crying thinking about ghost and thk's relationship, and what emotions could be welling up in their un-hollow shells... For the first time in potentially years, ghost seeing their sibling in such a sorry state having lost the battle they fought so hard to win. Honestly, I don't think any of the vessels were pure, even the one who made it to the top of the climb failed, and who knows if the knight would be able to contain the radiance with no training by the pale king even if they were truly hollow. That's why I think the dream no more ending is so significant, as it truly ends the cycle of torment from the radiance, and stops the suffering of these tortured siblings who lost connection.

Aw, this is such a touching comment! It really means a lot to me when people take so much time to analyze my work- let alone allow for tears! 🥺 Yes.. It may be a headcanon for me, but I really adore the idea of the vessels having some sort of interaction with one another before being cast down into the aybss. Having it be that way would have also allowed for more emotions to have developed- therefore making all of them “impure”. In another Hollowknight animation, I saw the idea that THK meditated on the memory of leaving Ghost behind for too long and the guilt was the final straw in allowing the radiance to shatter through. With my own twist, I wanted to translate that into my own idea! So yeah, I’m really happy you enjoyed this eheh! Thank you

I love your artstyle, this is underrated as all hell, this might genuienly be one of my favourite Hollow Knight animations and there is a lot of tough contenders
