Match Fishing just seems to be a mad rush, looking at other Anglers to see what they are catching, if they are catching more or bigger fish. What about just enjoying a day out on the bank, and the silence and relaxation

You're right, everything is done at high speed. Hook a fish, bully it into the landing net, into the keepnet and on to the next one. Its like a fishing conveyor belt.

hi dean theres no rule at partridge lakes saying u have to use a float,most weeks in summer its won this way by monging,some people dont agree with it but really its just like using a method feeder (self hooking).

I lived in England, caught perch, roach, restricted by rules and land violations. Eels, some small tench, culdn't fish anywhere. Now I live in Canada, 40lb Carp, 6lb Bass, 20lb Pickeral, fish anywhere I want, Bye England.

Couldn't fish anywhere? There are day ticket waters all over England. Lots of club waters, canals and rivers. I don't understand why you say you couldn't fish anywhere.
