Years back I caught a weever in a marina and wasn't aware what it was... It was a very painful welcome from mr weever. They say its 10 times more painful than hornet's sting. I can confirm, it's a nightmare. It took 2 months to fully recover.

Great underwater coverage, wish we had launce off Hastings as it would be a deadly bait. I've never had a ray in the wing but have had loads coming up backwards wrapped round the tail.
