Your fish will grow big fast once they are moved to a pond. My pond is around 2500 liter, couldn't go bigger due to space constraints.

Great work. I am thinking of making a structure out of interlock bricks, I will install the liner inside the bricks and fill it with water and put in a 1000gpm pump for a fountain and maybe add some fish.
@Fishaholic2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like a big pond project Daljeet, I have only built pond using wood and liner so don't know how complex it could be with bricks. Wish you all the best 👍

looking good, really like the idea of the window. I'm too lazy for all that work though, so just bought a 1000l poly water trough for a fish pond. what fish are planning to stock it with ?

Thanks Ivan, it will be a while till I add any fish as I haven't built a filter for pond. Waiting on COVID restrictions to ease so I could get an electrician to do wirings. What fish do you have in your pond? I am thinking more of adding some fancy goldfish.

Nice job brother enjoy the build! How many litres is the pond? How much does it cost to built something like that?
@Fishaholic3 жыл бұрын
Hi Joey, its 2500 liter pond, kept it small so I could have space for outdoor furniture. Cost is roughly 3,500 as it is and will have to spend atleast another grand for electrical work, pump, lights and filter.

What if we seal the wood with fiberglassing instead of using a liner?
@Fishaholic3 жыл бұрын
Wood has the tendency to expand and shrink due to moisture and dry external factors. I have not use fiberglass so not sure if it will work.
