The fact that you're still doing S6 Lite reviews & comparisons over 2 years after it's been out speaks volumes about it. Got mine (64 gb) on Black Fri 2022 online and I love it!! Has some screen bleed at the edges but i don't care. Wanted a bigger screen for YT, web browsing, Kindle and social media and the S6 Lite is great for the price.

Hi! May I ask if ever since you've got the tablet and after some software updates does the screen bleed still stays and never goes away? My device is Huawei and it had a screen bleed after a month I bought it but after updates it just disappeared and never come back.. I'm thinking if it same works on the tablet because Im still thinking of buying it next month ^^

what kills the s6 lite for me is its TFT screen. it boggles my mind why Samsung would use such an inferior and obsolete screen technology.

@@mayen67 Agreed. The Lenovo has a bigger screen, superior image quality and not unimportant; it has 120Hz refreshrate vs 60Hz. The rest of the technical/practical aspects are similar. It's also cheaper. I've multiple Samsung devices, but this Lenovo is the better option.

Got the Lenovo Tab P11 Gen 2 last month with 6GB RAM + 128GB internal for only $229 and the Precision Pen 2 2023 for about $25. The S6 Lite costs around $320-380+ dollars in my country and only has 4GB RAM and the screen & speakers are worse, it's only advantage is the software. The P11 Gen 2 is a very good deal, performs well and good enough for schoolwork and entertainment. 👍🏼✨

The timing of this comparison is just spot on for me, thank you! I'm about to buy the Tab P11 Gen 2. I'm still hesitant because people says that after a couple of months the tablet gets mad sluggish. Currently, it is available for $375 in my country including keyboard and pen, while the S6 Lite 2022 is on $380 with the pen and a foldable cover (no keyboard). What do you think about that value proposition?

I also have the p11 from January of 2022. No slowdown at all. I purchased the 6 GB unit. As well 128gb of memory. If you remove all bloat software and disable all the apps you will never use you will be ok. Also have the 10" unit that is 3 years old with 4gb and no slowdown. It came with Alexa docking station. That feature was removed. We simply charge the unit with USBC cable.

I'm thinking of p11. Are all the commercial apps working fine? Like streaming netflix, youtube, Amazon prime working good? Instagram, Facebook all apps compatible with vertical or horizontal mode? Do I miss the edges in horizontal mode? Many thanks!

I decided to buy the Lenovo one. I think that it is not the smoothest device but nothing that becomes frustrating unless... you attach the keyboard. With the keyboard attached and with productivity mode either enabled or disabled the tablet feels slower. Productivity mode is definitely not the strong suit because the bar at the top of every window is not pretty at all and every time you open an app its frame is of a set size, meaning you gotta resize the apps to an optimal frame every time they get open (from being complete closed). Additionally there is a overlay that tells you when you have caplocks ON or OFF but while the overlay stays in screen for about2.5 seconds you can't type anything with the keyboard. As a standalone tablet I think it is not a bad option at all. Consuming vide content, listening music, basic web searching is completely ok. But if you are looking to partially replace your laptop to send a couple of emails or create few docs, I think you'd be better off investing in a proper portable laptop. I find easier to reply an email or create little paragraph from the smartphone than the tablet. Especially because of the overlay issue which is annoying as hell.

Im just stuck between getting the Samsung S6 lite and the lenovo p11pro gen 2. And your comparison video on those made my choice even harder. Leaning towards the s6 lite though, but really wish it had quad speakers like the p11pro.

Yes I plan on getting that one. The one area I wish was better on the s6 lite was performance (s reen could be a little better). P11 Gen 2 beats it there but everything else I like on the s6 lite.

I have the s6 Lite. It's small for Dex mode and won't work on DeX when connected to a monitor (S7 may). The S6 Lite as a tablet allows for side-by-side apps with 5 pop-up apps that's very useful for school work (and also cast to a big screen). I use this mode to read an article and take note, plus have pop-ups apps like a calculator. If you need more sophisticated windows, maybe DeX on S7 12.4 inch works or you may want to look at a Chrome tablet such as Duet 5. I tried the Duet 3, but it couldn't beat out my S6 Lite.
