Using the Fisher FIELDVUE DVC6200 Digital Valve Controller with a Wireless THUM Adapter

I have installed a new positioner onto our gas lift compressor antisurge valve and have an issue with the pneumatic signal to the actuator pulsing twice a second. The 4-20ma signal is not changing to the positioner from our DCS. Can I make changes gas compressor online with hart without the valve stroking or can I look at the PD one button without affecting the valve.
