Did you ever look into the Piano Opera Collections? I know they’re ridiculously hard to do play. They span FF1-9 and 3 collections, the FF7-9 collection is a pain to locate for a reasonable price, the other two (FF1-3 & 4-6) are relatively easy to locate though. Also, they have some pieces from the piano collection that are arranged differently, as well as some that can’t be found in the official score books.

I've listened to them! I really love those arrangements, but yeah they're quite hard to play haha, I think I could play some of them but they are normally full of hard risky passages, so the recording session would be horrible ;_; I haven't tried to learn any of those arr., but maybe in the future!

How do you decide where to pedal

It can be hard to explain, I normally change my pedal everytime the harmony changes, but ultimately you should renew the pedal anytime you feel the sound becomes muddy / mixed (and many possible pedal combinations are allowed, it depends on your piano, your room and how the performer want the final result to sound!)
