An "additive" process. Carpentry involves a subtractive process of cutting, planning, or scraping away wood for components to assemble into structures. These people are creating serviceable structures with very little waste and minimal tools. Great video with a lot of detail.

They have no outside technology but their mind's & hand's. They show they can survive anything. Thank you for sharing such an amazing video. @@NomadArchitecture I am very happy because my comment was answered by the admin. in my country Indonesia, there are hundreds of tribes. hundreds of different cultures. and all the original culture of the tribes in Indonesia. someone died whose body was mummified, they are the Toraja tribe. there are those who live in the ocean, they can be in the water for 13 minutes at a depth of 60 meters without the help of tools and oxygen. they are the Bajo tribe. some live in the forest, the name is the Sundanese Baduy tribe. they reject anything related to technological progress. there is no electricity in their village, no matches, no tv, no cell phones. they live like the ancients. not wearing footwear. the road everywhere never ride a vehicle. because in the tradition of the Baduy tribe all of that is prohibited. and there are still many tribal cultures in Indonesia that are unique and make travelers enter Indonesia.

I find myself thinking about pillows. And blankets for them which is probably absurd. It's heartbreaking to know how little so many have in this world...and kindly do not reply with how happy people are with nothing. It's untrue. Earthlings have done a bad job at taking care of creatures here. We stand at the brink the first great extinction caused by humanity itself and yet we're probably not the first advanced world to end thusly.
