A great job on this video. I just bought one on a Black Friday Sale and followed your video on installing it. It was a big help !! Thank you. I was told that some of these windshields crack around the top hinges if you leave it in the open position? I hope not, it’s a real nice looking windshield! Thank you !

Thank you! Our guides run them open until it gets cold, we put 10K miles on our Defenders in 6 months. We’ve never had any crack from being open, you need to keep an eye on the little screws at the top hinges, they will come loose and then the windshield will flop around and that may cause it to crack or even fall off. We secure those screws with loc tite, we’ve even drilled a hole through the hinge and used a nut & bolt to secure it.

Great job on the install. 👍🏻 Everyone over on defender nation on the Facebook group swears by this windshield. But I think for me I’m gonna get the Seizmik versa fold front an the versa fold rear for my Hd7 max. From my understanding Seizmik is having modify the rear versa fold for 22’s as something is different with the head rest. By the way have you gotten to check out the new Hd7 engine from can am? I’m freaking loving it. All the average Joe will ever need. Very very torquey in low, have hit 62 mph still feels like it has a little more but ran out of room. It’s by far the smoothest and quietest single cylinder I’ve ever been around. It’s unbelievable man! Freakin in love with my Hd7 defender max! Perfect for my family of 5. The boys do fight over “shotgun” though 😂😂

@@FishersOffRoad for 650cc an 52 hp per spec from can am it’s right there with the Yamaha Viking 686cc. Maybe not quite as torquey but it’s debatable Viking does have 38 more cc. But the overall power of the Hd7 is very nice. An tons of torque in low range. Biggest thing is how unbelievably quite and smooth it is.

Can the windshield be adjusted left right and closer at the top to get a better top seal? I keep seeing water drip from the interior backside wiper bezel. Thanks

Great video, ive been on the fence about the glass windshld, i have the oem hardcoated poly windshield, but want something that flips out and helps with air getting in the cab to cool me off. Question.. do you perfer this windsheild or the one with the wiper???

Heck yeah, we drive 35-40 with them open. They’re very stable and don’t bounce at all.

Amazing video man. I’m looking to buy a 2023 can am defender max HD9 XT really soon. You literally showed me who doesn’t really know how to install something like this when I get my defender, but with your step by step, to the point of being able to install the window that I want for mine. We love the defender as a trail machine, if you’re looking to get a little crazy and want something more sporty then the commander would be the way to go.
