Dear turtle lovers, I have one for the last 10 yrs. Bought one when it was as big as shown here. Now that boy has grown to a size of 8 inches. Huge nails. Can't have him crawling around me like I did before. And they need 10 gallons of water for every inch of shell they have. Meaning for the 8 inch one I got, I need 80 gallons of water which is equal to around 300 litres. Gonna buy one soon and it's upkeep gonna put a hole in my pocket. I'll do that happily because my turtle is like my younger brother but beware, don't go for it if you're not in it for the long haul. It won't remain cute forever. Find some new hobby if you can't afford big tanks in the future or won't love it like you did when it is small. Please.. it's a humble request 🙏

@@alismangukiya8083 you can do that but only to people or organizations who are experienced enough un handling 🐢 or you could ensure on your end that they will provide them with the proper care that living being deserves. That's my appeal to you. Adult turtles fetch good money here in India but most of them want turtles for either their meat or for black magic purposes. ☹ If you sell them to shop keepers they keep them underground without proper light, sanitation and the quality of food also drops until some customer buys them. Never ever let them go in the wild because they will not be able to survive in the wild because they have gotten accustomed to privileged and protected life that you have provided them.

@@alismangukiya8083 my neighbor got hold of an Indian soft shell turtle while having a picnic at a nearby dam and put that poor little thing in the lotus pond at his garden. Poor thing died in the winters due to cold water as there was no heater. So i don't know about that turtle in the temple's pond. We can however donate turtles to national parks in India. They will be displayed and cared properly. You can donate any breed of turtle in the national park in my city.

Thanks 🙏🙏🙏 you can keep baby turtle with Molly fish in pond at any time after adding just feed him properly and place stone out of water on which turtle can easily climb. which provides natural environment for turtle. feed Sukat food which you can buy easy on Amazon, Flipkart feed turtle this food which is high protein contain.

Brush your turtle with a soft toothbrush moistened with water and some gentle soap, like Dove. Remove as much fungus as possible and rinse and dry him thoroughly. Wipe his shell with a solution that is 5 percent iodine to treat a fungal infection. Let it dry completely and repeat the process for two consecutive weeks.

This happens due to poor water quality(by extension small tank), lack of basking area and vitamin a deficiency. It happens due to disease in their air passage. Onlyva good veterinarian can carry out tge operation required.

Nice informative video i brought fishes and turtle same day off my fish tank the grew together and they are with me from last 2.4 years I wanted to know my turtle has become big and he is not fitting in his turtle platefofm I kept him in a bucket but he never ate his food and even never came out of water for five days then I put him back in tank with fishes and he was so happy and took his food also Can u suggest me how can I help him
