I noticed your jigging rods are spiral wrapped. I build custom rods so i know about spiral wraps and why they are used on a jigging rod. But your viewers might not. You should share how that style of rod helps fighting those big reef fish. Love your channel, keep it coming!!

I haven't watched the video yet but are you talking about the guides being spiraled around the rod? We started using them in Destin fishing for big grouper many, many years ago and they do help keep the rod from trying to twist in your hand while fighting a big bottom feeder.

Steven, As I watch your video, I have an electric heater at my side, 3.5 feet of snow outside and I am fishing with you...been taking my lead sinkers out of my tackle bag, replaced with tungston weights...Maine Fish & Wildlife will be checking all the tackle and looking for illegal hooks being used...up here we use circle and tungston...I use squid here for stripers and flounders...I have been salting my squid a couple of years and it holds up really well where I fish off of rock jetties and beaches...Cheers from Maine.

At around 20:42 you can see a big fin right next to your boat after you catch the remora. I assume it was a dolphin but when I first saw it I thought SHARK! Pretty neat!

Your videos are the best! I feel like I'm on the boat. You explain everything you're doing. I used to live in FL and dated someone who got a boat similar to you. We went out on most Saturdays weather permitting to try and catch Dolphin. After watching you - I realize we hardly caught anything, and he really wasn't much of a fisherman. You know where to go, what bait and tackle. He turned out to be a Narcissist and thought he knew everything. Well he did not! Keep the videos coming!
