Man I really enjoy watching you fish , I haven’t been fishing since July . I usually fish 4-5 times a week but these last few months have been tough . My fishing partner ( my dad ) was diagnosed with a Parkinson’s like condition that is unfortunately terminal. I just can’t find the heart to leave him home and go fishing by myself. watching your videos really helps distract me and remind me of the good times . Keep them coming , and stay blessed , there’s no place more beautiful than Old Florida .

Hey buddy, that was fun! Pretty little creek, where you live? I'm in Florida, near Crestview now but was living near Gainesville Florida. My son and I used to fish Lil' Hatchet Creek off Newnan Lake Preserve. That looks a lot like Hatchet,dark water with lots of structure and very narrow. We would catch a few catfish when we'd go but they were mostly small. Black and white crappie, bluegill and warmouth (my favorite on ultralight gear) and spotted bass and black gar. Still amazes me how many fish and different species those types of small creeks can actually hold. You take care

Traditional sides for me are baked beans, dill slow, and cheese grits. However, I do like fried pickle and "Cajun popcorn" (fried pickled jalapeño slices).
