Hey Bama, I was just in Panama City Beach for vacation and convinced my parents to go saltwater fishing. This was my first time fishing in saltwater and caught over 20 fish and a 30 pound Red Snapper. Thank you for inspiring me to try and fish in the gulf. Keep up the great work. ❤

Thank you for the great intro and quick explanation. For those that have lost brothers and sisters (especially in combat), a lot of people don't realize that Memorial Day isn't the day you go thanking someone for their service. That is what Veteran's Day is for, if someone feels the need to be thankful. As you stated, Memorial Day is a day to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. That said, it also irritates me when Veterans just go off on people for not knowing the difference (suck it up, say thank you, and move along, or politely say thank you and educate them about it). Anyways, enough rambling from me, thanks for another great video!

I never respected our veterans until my brother joined immediately after he turned 18. I was terrified when he was shipped overseas. Now I have nothing but respect and love for them. Those who have since passed, and those still living. Everybody have fun this weekend !

great stuff as usual...ty....I read an article about the mahi that said same as you...the other fish will follow the hooked fish, and if someone's w/ you, don't land the fish and let the other cast behind it and hook up, and it's like a revolving door...u land yours, he keeps his in until u hook up again...seems to be true. Hope to someday experience it.

Thank you Steven. My dad served in Vietnam in the Army. He was with the 82nd Airborne Division. Served from 1963-1969. He passed away suddenly in 2014 doing what he loved most and that was deer hunting.

Just got home from a pretty rotten fishing trip. Got in the boat, started pouring rain. Grabbed the truck , I could tell the motor wasn’t hitting a lick. Had to load it by the trolling motor. That’s awesome. Wish they came that close to me! I remember the first fishing down in the Keys as a kid from Texas, the first time we read into a large group of schoolies (as we called them) it was a blast! Not to mention the big ball of colors swirling around and basically eating practically a bare hook if someone else was hooked up! What a blast and a great memory!

The little mahi reminded me of yellow perch here in Pa if they bleed you may as well keep them there gonna die😢I'm told that Mahi are not characteristically large in the gulf but more elsewhere,it like fishing in a bathtub but at least there tasty

i love that kind of fishing, wish i had more opportunities to do it. i fish south Louisiana alot for specks and reds and flounder, but just don't have a boat big enough to get out to blue water here. we have to go way out. we usually have to book a guie to get out to blue water.
