I have a secret spot by me that is slowly gaining some attention. I'm worried there will be some houses popping up around at some point but as of now, it is a hidden "forest preserve". Hope it stays that way

In North East Ohio this year there’s been 11 deaths from kayak. 10 of those were PFD non present. 2 of them were assisting those drowning who didn’t have PFD, which lead to an additional drowning (one drowning, one helping recover also drowned). 1 was vary close to me, on my home lake, and he was known as a good swimmer. 2 of them on Lake Erie the same day after treading weather for 8-14 hours. One was a 14 year old who wouldn’t wear a PFD because it wasn’t “cool” and now he’s dead. Sometimes a PFD isn’t for you and like it or not, you’re a role model to kids, adults alike, and more than you know. WHERE YOUR FREAKING PFD. Encourage others to. Downing isn’t cool…

I was thinking the same thing , but if you don’t want to wear it please take off the boots! I lost a friend in this same situation in the cold water 😢 I think the outcome would have been different if he didn’t have boots on

You need to do a wire bait' only day and use just spinner bait and buzz bait would cover water like crazy and be able to slow down with the spinner bait to go to the bottom of the water colame
