Leo glad to see you fishing on the channel. I knew where you were when I saw the thumbnail. I was there back in Oct chasing those same lifers 😊. Those were the first three lifers that I caught on the trip. I caught the platy and swordtail fishing from that same rock. I found bigger covicts in the pool below that first walking bridge. Ended up with 14 lifers in four days. 😊 Can't wait to see more great videos!

I used to catch all sorts of non native fish when I lived in SoFla. Most of the time I used a 5 gallon bucket and just 'kachunk' it in the hydrilla weed and it would have mostly shrimp and gambusia. Every once in a while I'd get a juvenile non native cichlid and raise them my 120 gallon tank. One was a black acara that turned out to be a really cool fish. This looks like fun.

The Guppy _(Poecilia reticulata)_ can have some wild coloration and patterns as well; however, that one in the video was a Variable Platyfish _(Xiphophorus variatus)_ indeed.
