Looks like they did pretty good.. No playing around and jetted right for home. They are learning to navigate somewhat by themselves now rather than following the group.. It's good to let them go in groups of 3 or 4 like you did. Makes them use their brains. Builds their confidence to be able to break away from the group of birds on race day knowing they can make it home on their own and without being a follower. I have a feeling your young bird team will be kicking a little ass this season.. ;-)
