Fishing AT Ferrybridge , Chesil Beach - Pop ups beat the spider crabs, 6 species landed

I fish Ferrybridge end of Chesil Beach over night catching a variety of species - Red Gurnard, Smoothound, Conger eel , Dogfish, Mackerel and pouting
Plenty of spider crabs in attendance , so used pop ups to keep the baits out of reach
Baits used were ragworm, squid, bluey, sandeel, prawn and mackerel
Walked about 1 km towards the bird sanctuary from the Chesil cafe carpark

Good to see you back on Chesil mate, great vid, same night I was there, I was sitting it out with bigger baits when I probably should have been scratching. Didn’t see any mackerel come out down at the cove end while I was there, strange.

Hi, surprised by how few were fishing that night, just the 1 by me and that was it ! Got to learn to pack light !! Hope to be back soon (ish) - See the bream have arrived

Hi alan you ok mate , another good vid cheers. Well done on your session. Pop ups are spot on when the crabs about . I was out early saturday morning at cleethorpes and blanked, but it was a stunning morning to be out fishing. All the best alan from GRIMSBY.
