Just found your channel a few days ago and is trying to catch up on all your videos. I used to live in Fountain Valley Orange County and been to most place you have been in SD. thanks for bringing back lots of memories. I'm glad to hear you are doing great with your health. I too, went through my struggles with my health dealing with depression and is still working on it to better my life and everyone around me. I got back on the 26th. Royal Star 4 day and got my PB a 180lb. bluefin in a school of yellowfin! unbelievable trip with over a hundred yellowfin between 60-80 lbs. Tim is a great skipper.

Covid 19 almost killed me. I had a tiny caught for a about 12 days and then that turned into chest pain and diffulty breathing and very unexpectedly I went into what is called hyperactive delirium. It was an ordeal of extreme anxiety combined with sever audio hallucinations and neurological completely unable to sleep for 6 days and nites in a hyper agitated state . That's on top of the pain and difficult breathing. It wasn't fun . Almost killed me. I lived and I fought my symptoms because I was not done fishing. That was summer of 2020. Ive since caught my PB tuna . Not big but a 55 pound BF tuna. Going for a 150 160 next 😁. It took 16 months plus to recover. I'm very lucky to be alive. Thanks for reading.

God has spared you for a reason, just like he saved me from stage 4 throat cancer. It's a great opportunity to serve others and in the meantime fish hard and troll hard. Many of the disciples were fishermen. ❤

A group of friends and I been on multiple charters in Oceanside, CA just catching your average rock fish, calico , sheep head, ect, ect. Which we’ve had great success but we are looking to go for bigger fish. We will be going next year in Aug/Sept. Do you have any recommendations or any boats to set up a charter with? There will be about 6 of and we are still debating either Oceanside or try something new, San Diego! We dont all have saltwater gear so I would ask for something for amateur.If you can please help out, it would be much appreciated!
