Fishing Boat Project #26 - Battery Box Completion - Gritting the Deck

Weather stopped me in my tracks unfortunately so could only grit the deck but couldn't finish it off with its final layer of flow coat or paint the remaining bulkheads due to the damp weather. Finished off my rough and quickly moulded battery box though lol.

Hi mate what was the purpose of the tape you put down before you added the grit?

Hi, It was just so i will have a smooth frame effect around the grit. more decorative than anything else. Another benefit may also be when or if the deck needs replaced in the future, it will be easy to just cut round edge.
