Fishing Burntisland breakers - cod quest continues

Went back to Burntisland breakers to continue my cod quest. Burntisland is the closet place where I can go fishing as the restriction allow it. Had a fab day, cold but nice. Overcast most of the time with light wsw wind.
for me it doesn't matter to catch fish all the time. Winter fishing is always a bit harder than in the summer. It's good to be out doing what you love doing.

Good man, what are blueies? I think that wood place behind you is Scott Timber, they make pallets. Are codling a cross between cod and ling? Keep up the good work and best regards. 🙃

Best method at the breakwater is using a large sea float with a 6/7 ‘ cast weighed down with a few shot, about 10 feet out from the rocks. Lots of wrasse and codling. Either side of low tide used to be the most productive for myself.

You will get played with crab there that is why there are crab pots there they pots have been getting put down there for the last 50pluse years I know of nice to see you are still going out to make videos

Thank you for your comment, all appreciated. You're correct with the crabs, but there is also fish there. I caught 3 species there and the owner from Loch Gelly tackle shop goes there nearly every Sunday. He saw 4lbs plus coddling coming out. Maybe you can suggest another spot to try.
