It's a great place, you will love it! Just keep the bait going in the same spot as tight as possible and keep building up the swim. Change your hookbait every so often to find out what they want on the day. Also bait the margin and try down there every 30 minutes to see if they have moved it. Good luck!

@@iangrabham692 Thank you for that information, margins are a good call as I'm after tench bream and perch so that could help me get the perch. ll let you know how I get on 👍 hoping it's a bit more overcast than today.

Yeah let me know how you get on. Margins are good if you are on the float rod as you can throw the bait really accurately over the top. But also try out at around 8m, as the big bream and tench like the deeper darker water there. Little and often on the bait, small pellets soaked in liquids or small balls of groundbait will bring them in and keep them there. The tighter the baited area is the quicker you will get bites.

@@iangrabham692 ay mate sorry for not getting back to you, thank you for asking. I was going to on the evening but got busy packing away my gear! It was absolutely incredible fishing, had a tench literally first cast only about 13 foot out on a patch of water that was fizzing. It was non stop on that spot all day so kept it going until I ran out of bait. Plenty of tench, loads of bream, and loads of carp caught. I also switched to surface fishing for the evening and had over 10 fish like that. Had the lake to myself for the most part. I cannot wait to get back down there. You been out at all?
