That’s my favorite lake. It’s a great crappie and catfish lake. Those bridges always hold a lot of fish

I was fishing with a buzz bait, I casted out on my first cast and a 8pounder cat fish jumped out of the water catching my bait about a foot off the water, he tasted great

Lake of the Pines is the furthest I have pulled the boat. It's about a 130 miles from my home in Mesquite TX.

You should have fished the bridge. They have cross members and the crappie hold underneath them
