Fishing Diamond Reserve - Pimpama River 09-07-2019

Fishing Diamond reserve at the end of Foxwell Rd Hokd Coast with a mate. Lure only challenge! I am also on Facebook at Sonnie’s Fishing Adventures!

Sonnie heads out in a double kayak with the hope of catching a donut. Hopes were dashed when he caught & landed a 38cm Flathead. Another Flathead 43cm. His fishing mate disappeared. Possibly on the trail of bigger fish but is not in sight. Another Flathead is tempted to take a hard plastic. It should have resisted the temptation. Caught & landed - 42cm of unhappy Flathead. Sonnie's mate appears out of nowhere to a fanfare of background music. Sonnie's invisible fishing partner is apparently along just for the ride & has not participated in the fishing & is enjoying the free ride in the kayak. An interesting time, bobbing up & down, as jetskiers ski past. They slowed down. Amazing! A return to the successful fishing spot resulted in zero catch. A burst of background music nearly blew me off my perch as I typed this & Sonnie returned to the launch site. Another good day on the water. Thanks for sharing.

xxr0wdyxx yeah mate there are heaps. As you head in with the tide all along your left is all sand banks with yabbies holes everywhere
