Fishing for a Personal Best White Musselcracker in Port Elizabeth

A little short clip from an expedition with the main goal of convincing a white musselcracker to come say hi and pose for a picture. One bite for the day, but she was a beautiful specimen! A personal best and a day to remember. These fish concentrate around PE and St Francis to breed in early summer, they can be incredibly vulnerable to fishing at this time so let's promote catch and release.

Definitely! He's an amazing teacher. I was very skeptical of the Cracker story, before I met Franna and moved to PE I just fished estuaries and scratched off the rocks. Throwing big baits for big fish off the rocks was very unfamiliar to me. Incredible how these fish come so close and in the sizes they do 😱
