Also, I was unaware that The Four H had a Larry the Cable Guy assortment of Tees.

I love fishing for Bass but I've enjoyed bluegill fishing so much lately. They are so much fun to catch not to mention how delicious they are. I'm trying crickets tomorrow and hopefully I'll catch my limit. Thanks for sharing your method.

U bet! And yeah, I think a bluegill is more fun to catch than a bass most days anyway

that bucket hack looks well suited for a kayak. In a boat i'll turn my net over so the netting is kinda folded over the hoop, then i'll just set it on top of my bucket in between throwing fish in it. If you don't fold the netting over though, the net goes falls down the sides of the bucket getting hung up and taking an extra couple of seconds to get back off. It works better where you have more room in a boat though. I'll also freeze gallon jugs of water and throw one in a 5 gallon bucket when i plan on keeping fish that day
@reliablyrandomoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the frozen jug is a good idea. I usually go withthe keep it alive to keep preserve it method. So i do have to change the water in the bucket a few times to prolong their demise
@chamblen42 жыл бұрын
@@reliablyrandomoutdoors yeah it wouldn't really make a difference when you're cleaning them while still alive. It's more for those all day trips

I specifically fly fish which would be difficult a narrow area like that...So, my latest passion is designing what I'm calling the Devo Fly Rod.Maybe you'll catch the reference. I use a carbon fiber rod like a jockey's whip or a SMB which we can all find at our local hardware store. The ones I am currently working on are between 36 and 48 inches with real tackle hardware.....Still untested. Might check for morels today. I cant't take Happy with because he doesn't have his flea and tick. I bought three bags of cow manure (like five dollars a bag) at Lowe's to begin growing Psilocybin and other mushrooms. This year, I would like to try my hand at catching and cooking crayfish. PS: Every time I find a terrestrial snail, it has already been enjoyed by most likely a Jay or a Crow.

I do some fly fishing.... I always tell myself I am going to use it more but always end up w that trusty spinner in my hand. So who did you by your spawn from? also did you by liquid or inoculated medium? just curious. I have tried my hand at growing some shrooms (other varieties though) but so far havent put enough effort in to be successful. If my understanding is correct the liberty caps are one of the easiest to propogate. I tried Incoculating logs with Bears head tooth and Lions mane but no luck... Im pretty sure I just let the logs dry out too much. Keep me posted on that, im curious how it goes for ya

Oh and if you go into the woods while its raining all the snails will climb up the trunks of the trees, easy to find and easy to grab that way
@PuddleWalkersOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
That bucket idea is awesome. Somebody should patent that 🤔 I see a lot folks using a bucket for crappie and a bunch of the catfish guys use buckets for keeping live bait. Great episode man.

I was using abu Garcia max STX medium combo. The reels were great but both of those poles ended up getting snapped in half. One by a fish and the other by a 13 year old boy.
