That was a great drone shot of the whale and her calf. What luck running across them. Good going mate. I see that you do not scale your fish prior to cutting fillets. when do you descale the cuts?

We skin them once defrosted. Always eat skin off unless eating the wings or whole baked. I normally scale the wings but just pull em back with the skin on a baked fish. Thanks again for watching mate. 🙏

Just for identification mate and it’s less work on the cleaning side of the freezer. Snez just knocks them off once thawed before cooking. Cheers for watching 👍

WOW guys,It doesn't get much better than this. Lovely couple, Awesome rig,Beautiful wether, calm waters and some nice pan sizers in the box. I could almost see that shark going into my freezer lol. Pity the bastard took your good fish. Snez was the big surprise for me. Among the best f/m fishers I've seen here in Aus and freaked out about the Whale. It gave me a giggle tho. Enjoyed watching . Love the videos guys but I do not recommend flushing your motors with the quick flush, I looked into it I got my Yamaha and found that flushing with the quick flush does not let them motor warm up so isn’t allowing thermostat to open so isn’t giving a full flush of engine.
