After an extremely long and ultimately unsuccessful day, I decided to try one last spot with the little bait I had left, and caught a true monster...

Man, I just got into fishing and was proud of catching my first bluegills and also one largemouth bass. I'm here mesmerized and just so impressed at you being able to catch these prehistoric beauties.

I'm very relieved you didn't fall into the water while trying to pull up the giant fish, I wish you the best luck on the weekend and week!

Hey 8m 13 and looking to get into to dishing over the summer but I don’t want anything expensive, any tips or something I should buy for it?

You fishing in Louisiana?
@reelingwithrobby3 ай бұрын
Yes, that’s why I push conservation so hard for these fish, we’re the only state without limits on them, even though we’re on of the last places you can catch them:/

Im really worry for your fingers when seeing you chilled with the fish in the water 😂😂

guys chill out lets just imagine if that was an alligator/crocodile/gator that he caught☠
@reelingwithrobby2 ай бұрын
Not uncommon to have one get hooked on accident I’ve caught quite a few. Just have to get behind their head, pull up their chin, and then you can remove the hook

Use big circle hooks bruh, Those hooks are way to deep on some of those fish
@reelingwithrobbyАй бұрын
Circle hooks can rip out entire gills on fish. They aren’t mean to be used on fish that take the bait like gar, and to have one that can provide a good hookup it would be a very large hook which can be lethal

@@reelingwithrobby This is the Coronado right? Was it flexing too much or did something else break?
@reelingwithrobby3 ай бұрын
@@sjshbnwjsnsislandsmaster3408 yes, it was flexing but the other day I set the hook on a fish and now the reel clicks very loud and doesn’t take in line when reeling
