Great action! that one that leaped, it got hang time that an NBA Player would envy. I'm so glad the fish didn't come off when that reel came off twice.

RWA Fishing That fish had to jump about 10ft out of the water, the video doesn’t do it justice. I couldn’t believe Shannon was able to land that fish (it weighted in at 10 pounds and is her new pb) Thanks for watching bro

David Sheldon Fishing I was blown away at the speed and power of those fish. They changed direction so fast and when that last fish came at me I thought I lost him because the line went slack right away. And they were very tasty. We let 10 go an kept four for the table

Sounds great, hoping to get some stuff dialed in better this fall and hopefully the weather is more steady this year to allow me to do that. Last year we went from 90 degrees in September to temps dropping off a cliff in early October cooling down the water about 25 degrees in less than two weeks.

Nice work my Friend! Nice to see you out in action again! Are you getting ready for Salmon River 2018-19? We are getting close! Hope to see you up these this year. Keep up the good work and look me up when your heading up to the SR!

On The Fly Outfitters I’ll be up there. I already made lodging reservations for the end of October and I’m thinking about going up aug 26-29 to see if I can get a fresh king. Do you think there will be a few Kong’s moving in around then?
@ontheflyguideservice89366 жыл бұрын
Well hope to catch up with you in October. As far as August, well as you know ask 100 guys and get 100 different answers. Here are my 2 cents. Fact, at the time of me typing this message we have several fish already in the fish ladder at the hatchery. As you know, a little cool weather and rain typically stimulates a fish movement. For the most part had cool nights dipping well into the low 60's. Could use a little rain. Second, reports from lake charter captains are that this year lake fishing has been outstanding. In fact I have spoke with guides with over 30 years experience and they have informed me this has been their best year EVER on the lake. So it seems we may be setting up for another epic year. Third, last year on Sept 6th I fished the DSR and the day was counted in my top 3 fishing days the SR. There were positively fish in the system in late August. Most success I have put together early season has been pocket water and fast moving cooler water features. Fish numbers however, well as you would expect low. However with all that, yes IMO and based on past experience there will be some fish in the system. Obviously you will need to cover water and hit the holes you know always hold fish and just maybe you will get into one or 2. One other thing, fishing the river system in August offers you is a unique and clearer picture of the holes, runs, and river bed. Water flows are at a base flow of around 185 in the summer months. This really gives you good perspective and view into your fishing holes and potential holding areas, snags, new water to explore, and you can get to the areas you typically cant get to when the flows are higher. This can give you an advantage for the upcoming months when the run is in full swing. Should you like don't ever hesitate to reach out if you are ever looking for fishing company. You can find me on Facebook "On The Fly Outfitters and Guide Service" or on Instagram "ontheflyfish". Again, keep up the good work on your video productions my friend and stay hooked up!

On The Fly Outfitters Thanks for the amazing report. I’m sure we’ll cross paths out there. You won’t find to many brothers that fly fish the river so I should stand out. Fingers crossed for another epic run, Tight lines!
