TRY THE SOUTH END OF BAKER LAKE NEAR WHERE THE 5TH ST.JOHN POND STREAM ENTER THE LAKE. THERE IS A CAMPSITE THERE TOO.

I just move up here in 2018 I have been looking for a place to fish and I know where this place is at.I'm from down south in Arkansas I had so many places to fish down their but up here in Caribou Maine I don't know where to fish at.I love up here and never going back down south I bought a house in Maine this is my new state to live until my time is up.I'm 64 now will be 65 this year.Thanks for posting this.I got fishing fever real bad right now too lol.

Thanks, Chuck! When are you coming up or are you from the area? The water levels are really low right now which makes accessing certain areas pretty tough depending on whether you are in a boat or walking the banks. The Musky Derby was held last weekend and very few fish were caught; it is pretty tough right now. Hopefully things change for the better when you are here!

is there a public launch in Frenchville? I'm actually in a pedal kayak and looking to get on my first musky. Thanks. Nice video. I actually just found one off hwy 1. How's the water level?

Hello! Just saw this comment. Frenchville does have a public boat landing and it is actually really nice. We have had some rain the last couple of days which has brought the water up a little bit but very fishable. The Musky Derby was just held last weekend so the river should be pretty quiet now.
