Where do you launch out of (don’t need specifics)? I worked out of panacea and Apalach for a good amount of time and loved fishing out there.

How far off shore? Also what's your setup?

I was in that 16-20 miles offshore range, 60-100ft depth. The spinning rods are all Shimano Tallus PX, either medium or medium heavy, reels are Penn battles, 5000 and 6000 size. The conventional rods are medium heavy to extra heavy and the reels are older Penn GTI 320 and 330. They don’t have as much drag as I need so soon I’m going to be getting a Shimano Speedmaster 16 which will have about twice as much drag. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching and subscribing!

What size gosa???

What size Grady? It’s a Grady White Gulfstream 232. So it’s technically 23ft, but It’s 30 ft from tip of bow pulpit to back of engine, and 9’6” wide. Feels much bigger than 23ft. Big enough for offshore, but manageable for one person alone.
