few weeks ago, been way to busy at work and been slacking on the editing and posting. working on balancing between having a job, fishing, and editing which can take hours if noob like me lol dude the cohos have been coming in hot! throw #4 blue fix spinners in early morning, look for shallow areas in the river that bends or curves, or throw spinners behind log jams or submerged trees is usually where fish sit! if you get the spinner in front of a fish's face they will bite it, last I only get spinner bites from 7-11 am. so early morning bite works best for me, probably evening too as well from what I heard. but ive caught coho before in the afternoon as well. just cast.

Once you cast it how many seconds do you wait once it hits the water or do you start twitching right away

depends, if its deep let it sink deeper, count how many seconds until it hits the bottom, for example if it takes 3 seconds for your lure to hit the bottom, count 2 seconds then start twitching. its all on how to work the jig, if the fish are on the surface I cast and jig right away to keep it on the surface. Twitching takes a lot of practice, eventually you will find and see a pattern. I personally love sight fishing and fished for salmon that were sitting right at my feet while using polarized shades on, I cast every single color lure that i have in my tackle box and observe what the lures the fish reacts to, they really do get irritated at the right place and time and right lure they will bite! i do best with spinners/jigs early morning and bite usually dies out toward the afternoon, so I fish the mornings and evenings hard! hope this helps!

I forget i'm not bass fishing sometimes lol those suckers have hard mouths. Thanks, I try to not to let filming get the best of me, since a lot of people handle the fish poorly just for a video or photo it can be difficult but anything to protect the fishery so we can enjoy and keep catching fish!

below 212 bridge lots of other honey holes like this, just have to find the trail entrances! no signs but fisherman clear nice paths to the holes! watch out for the thorns on them bushes! good luck!

I’ve been using twitchers by casting and lifting and reeling slack. the way all of the tutorials say. I got skunked for all of September. After watching your vids I went to the green in south Kent under 277th bridge and jigged straight down, and caught 3 pinks and a trout in less than 10 mins. All of them still had energy and fought hard but their body’s were floppy like a tube sock. So they all went back. Thanks for your videos, it’s encouraging to see someone still pulling edible fish.

That's awesome man! I could not get anything to bite the first few years, I spent a lot of money and lost many lures on the river! I wanted to give up at times, but with some good advice from some friendly anglers and persistance I finally got the hang of things. Can't lie I spent countless hours on the river fishing everyday for weeks, sometimes i catch fish on the first cast, most times I don't get single bite lol moral of the story never give up and observe everything when they do bite, then you will start seeing a pattern and I simply repeat it and produces fish for me every time now.

This is actually a pretty good king hole, I personally dont fish it because I got into an argument with a homeless dude there once but if you go early in the season and throw eggs its really good

@@ericklagos1431 homeless stole a genie lift and were cutting it up by here, city people came and cleaned it up but they are camping in the woods right next door so be careful and stay safe! they usually don't bother me but I just talk and act crazy back and they usually get bored and walk off. maybe I am that crazy to them lol
