The lower flint holds some monster shoalies. It is a very dangerous river though. Many people have been sucked under shoals.

We use to run up the flint when the fishing was tough in Seminole for classic tournaments. The DNR use to hate it because they had to transport them back to the river in a tank truck! Now you can catch shoals up the chattahoochie . Great fish and definitely glad to see them recognized finally by the IGFA as their own species. Looked like a really fun trip brother glad to see you making the most of it. Enjoy every minute because we’re never promised tomorrow 🙏👊
