Fishing for Sharks on a Jon Boat

In this live stream, we go fishing for sharks with Capt. Austin Hayne from Finao in Florida. The blacktip shark migration has begun and there are thousands of sharks on the beach. We were using bonito for bait.

That Cobia rat story is so true but you can take advantage of it. Let your buddy throw the first bait at them. Rat comes up and annihilates it and you've got free run at the good one. I've done it on my boat but the pier is the money spot. Big ray comes in, first guy gets fired up and casts, hooks the rat and is super excited, come in behind and catch the 50+ pounder.

Years ago, a huge Great White was hauled in off the ocean in Long Beach, California and was moved around from place to place on a double axle trailer. I used to have a photograph of the shark, but it's hard to say if I still do. I f it was estimated to weigh 2,000lbs. I would not have argued with it! Fascinating stuff guys, Amazing!!☮

I use to run a line out with a balloon, best to use a gummy life saver instead of the hard life savers, the gummy savers, even tho they don't fully melt off b4 dropping the line, the gummy gets soft enough with the weight of the line it drops it fast like I said even b4 the gummy melts completely away , it still drops the line fast if I'm not mistaking, I think they banned balloons where I'm from, that's Kure and Carolina Beach.
