All the hate the new technology gets is mind blowing to me. I remember when very few people would even use flashers to ice fish. Now I even see the old timers using them in the winter. Technology will never stop advancing, so if it isn’t for you…more fish for the people utilizing it. 😝

I enjoy watching the options. I use a garmin for ice fishing and have a hummingbird in my boat. Use it for depth and that's about it. Still enjoy watching the new gear in action.

The way i like to get away from electronics is to fish rivers from the bank. But in my boat there's no beer drinking it's all about FFS. 👍 great video ,

Clayton, What is your technique for using Hyper rattles or Hyper Hammers when casting from a boat when drifting. Do yo cast toward your drift, or away from your drift. I have never mastered that skill.

I run a hummingbird and a garmin with livescope. garmin for the win all the way . we only got the garnin cause they had no hummingbird 12 inch units at the time , now would never go with anything but garmin .feel like Lawrence is so far behind. my next purchase I want that garmin trolling motor seen the previews of it months ago

Trying to understand how the trolling motor can switch from 36 to 24 volt automatically. You have said this a few times. If a battery goes down would it not lose all current through it. Meaning the wiring in the boat would not be 24 volt?

I guess if the battery was completely toast it couldn't work right? I believe if it had a little draw it would drop down to 24 volt? To be honest, I am only repeating what I heard from other people and channels... SOOOO I should be better and find out the exact way this happens before I repeat anything.
