I have a couple more years before my military career is complete and I will be heading back to the rock to spend my days fishing, hunting and just enjoying the country. Miss it so much, but your videos allow me to stay in touch and helps build the excitement of my eventual return! Thank you very much.

Late June 1977 my father decides to take me to The Rock fishing. Took the ferry across and drove to Grand Falls to stay the night in our tent and do some fishing on our way to Clarenville. The sky turned dark and we thought a storm was brewing but of another type as we found out. We fed your bugs proper, and have never seen bugs like that again. Anyways that started a love affair with The Rock which has never gone away. You're a lucky man to live in a beautiful place like that full of the nicest people you could ever meet.

Another excellent video! Please don't feel pressured to push out videos. As fans we would much rather see content you enjoy creating and took your time with as opposed to videos being made just for the sake of videos. Do what you gotta do and we will still be here! :D

Last time I saw flies that thick was up at Great Slave Lake, N.W.T. back in the 80's. We used to call them bulldogs and they were big. I enjoy your videos very much, keep up the great work. Saku and Bear are awesome dogs, hope to see more of them in the future when you get time.

Dude, your videos, in my opinion, are extremely entertaining. This latest installment reminded me of the definition of the word samurai-which means to serve. In your case, I would say you have brought the world a small glimpse into the natural beauty that is New Foundland.

I like the idea of a balaclava. Keeps the flies from getting into your ears! I'm still processing the custom of calling brook trout "mud trout". I suppose if they are as common as black flies, the name applies! Great video!!

Dandy few trout, well done man. The black specks from what I have read is called Black Spot and come from birds like gulls and others shitting in the water. No harm from them but I never like to see them on trout. But in meantime I still always eat the trout unless they are really infested with them and then I just release.
