Nice , lake Crowley was good where Owens River hits the lake . I tried convict lake also but it was very slow . Some people were saying rock creek lake was really good , have fun :)

Do you have to pay to launch your own float? How did you drive to that Owens inlet? I only fished at Crowley last September, but I rented a boat, quite a bit pricey.

Greg Sheu i didn’t pay anything and no one has ever said anything , they don’t allow to lunch boat on from there but I have seen people lunch float , if u drive up on 395 there is a little church on right side right before the airport you make right on it go straight you will pass Owens river bridge ones u pass that on your right if you get of the second of road you will go right on owners river, if you make right on 3rd off road it will take you to Crowley ,where it hits Owens river u can lunch from there and it’s really good around November thats when they go up river for spawning. Make sure to use barbless only and artificial Lewers you can keep two 18” and bigger

@@Overlandjourneys Thanks for the direction. Last September, I fly fished at Crowley, so it was special regulations season. I hope I can make one trip before season closed in mid November.
