I used to fish this stream with my father years ago. Thank you for the memories.

great video. no bells and whistles - simple fishing. what size hooks do you use and were those red worms?
@TroutWest4 жыл бұрын
Instead of pitching at the bank undercuts... go below where you want it to land and cast up stream parallel so the worm is in the "Zone" longer.....

Absolute savages with unhooking those trout. Ditch the spin rods and live bait, fly rods with flies should be the only tackle allowed for trout. Conventional tackle guys do way too much damage to the trout population nation wide.

dry hands = quicker death to trout. Just because they swim off looking well doesn't mean they will survive. Trout are not as resilient as pan fish etc.
@HudsonValleyForrests3 жыл бұрын
For sure, we make sure to wet our hands when we’re releasing. Especially tenkara fishing in the mountains for wild brookies!

@@HudsonValleyForrests 8:47 the kid grabs the trout before wetting his hands.. 10:07 looks like a cut away not showing grabbing the fish with dry hands.. 11:38 grabbing fish in net without having wet hands... come on man.. i wouldn't have mentioned wetting your hands had i not observed so many times grabbing with dry hands.

Dont be the guy that kills wild trout. Keep the stocked ones.
